Commemorative 9/11 Movie Screening & Discussion

I will host a commemorative screening of a 30-minute film created by the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, featuring first-person accounts of the unity, resilience, and hope that defined September 11 and the days and weeks that followed. As we approach the 23rd anniversary of 9/11, we commemorate those who perished, those who survived, and those whose lives were transformed by this event in history.

Following the movie, I will share my personal story of being in New York City on that fateful day and how it has inspired me to serve my community by helping others heal from trauma. September the 11th is a National Day of Service and the opportunity to educate and create understanding for our new generations, and inspire them to meet today’s challenges with compassion and unity.
